GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City of Waco is set to create a railroad quiet zone downtown that will stop routine train horn blasts along a 1.5-mile stretch. TTG Utilities Inc. will start construction in March with work expected to finish by December 2027 & the zone going live 21 days after FRA approval. City of Waco
- ➤ City officials announced that the former Indian Spring Middle School campus will be demolished as part of the Baron’s Branch District development. Salvaging ends in March and demolition begins April 1 while an oral history project collects memories from former students and staff. KCENTV
