- ➤ Hundreds of McLennan County families have applied for school vouchers under the state program with 4,691 applications from Waco-based Region 12, and the state deadline is Tuesday. Waco Tribune-Herald

- ➤ Waco City Council will vote on a $6M incentive for an 80-year-old local firm planning a $10.9M expansion, and a company representative said the plans remain in early development — details have not been released yet. Waco Tribune-Herald

- ➤ Baylor legend Brittney Griner visited her alma mater today to watch the women's team practice and explore the new locker rooms. She also scrimmaged with the players (a vlog post of her visit will be shared soon). KXXV
- ➤ Baylor women's basketball is headed to the NCAA Tournament as they enter the Sacramento Regional 2 Bracket with a No. 6 seed—set to face the No. 11 seed Nebraska/Richmond in Durham, NC. The Bears hope to rebound after an early exit from the Big 12 Tournament. KXXV
