- ➤ The Greater Waco YMCA and La Vega ISD are offering free drowning prevention lessons to elementary students at the YMCA after school. Instructors teach pool survival skills, and about 200 students will join the program by the end of the school year (2025-2026). KCENTV

- ➤ Today, Kempner Water Supply asked customers to reduce water use by 5% after Stage 1 drought watch was declared for Stillhouse Hollow Lake and nearby reservoirs in the Brazos basin. The company urges residents to limit outdoor watering + promptly fix leaks to protect water supplies. KXXV

- ➤ Starting April 1, Texans using SNAP benefits cannot buy most sugary foods and drinks to promote healthier eating, a new state law aimed at reducing obesity and improving wellbeing. KCENTV
