  • Waco City Council approved a 15-year lease on April 21 for Manhattan Project Beer Company to use a 10,260 (sqft) space at the Foster Pavilion parking garage near Baylor University. The Dallas-based craft brewery will invest $2.49 million and open a taproom in May 2027.  KCENTV

  • Waco ISD is considering how to spend $37 million from unused bond revenue and proceeds from the sale of Indian Spring Middle School — the board aims to invest the funds in enhancing educational services.  Waco Tribune-Herald

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • At a crowded Wednesday meeting in Salado, residents learned to file intervenor paperwork with the Public Utility Commission to challenge a $2 billion, 200-mile transmission line linking West Texas to Bell County.
