Good morning, Waco.

At Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waco, parishioners attended their first Sunday service since Pope Francis passed away.

The service honored his humble leadership (his funeral was held Saturday and cardinals will soon meet in Rome to choose a successor) while the community expressed deep sorrow.

A fire broke out on Saturday in a two-story apartment building at 2726 Madison Dr.—destroying one unit, damaging several others, and displacing at least 16 residents with no injuries reported as 25 firefighters responded and the investigation continues.
