  • Today at Creekside Community Village, a new LaSalle shuttle stop gives residents transitioning out of homelessness access to jobs, healthcare, and grocery stores. Waco Transit officials say the service supports vital connections across the community — helping people rebuild their lives.  KCENTV

EDUCATION NEWS

  • School officials surprised 51 teachers with $155,000 in grants from local businesses & community partners last Thursday and Friday in classrooms across Waco. One teacher will build a 3D printing lab & another will purchase an online Boardmaker program to support speech therapy.  KCENTV

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Waco is considering three development proposals that would launch the first phase of downtown redevelopment around Barron's Branch, with plans for restaurants, condos, offices and retail space. City officials expect to review the proposals soon.  Waco Tribune-Herald
