- ➤ The leader of a private group (targeting child sexual abusers across Central Texas) was arrested today by the McLennan County Sheriff's Office on a Class A misdemeanor unlawful restraint charge. Waco Tribune-Herald
- ➤ A Waco man was arrested early Tuesday after he allegedly struck his girlfriend’s car with a crowbar + resisted arrest outside 903 S. Valley Mills Drive and was taken to a hospital before being booked on aggravated assault and resisting arrest charges. KXXV

- ➤ Preliminary numbers showed industrial values in McGregor fell by $100 million—a drop that could raise tax rates—while city officials confirmed SpaceX was not responsible as it maintained full operations on over 4,000 acres of leased property. Waco Tribune-Herald

- ➤ Waco-McLennan County Library opened registration for its annual Mayor’s Summer Reading Challenge that will run from June 1 to July 31 to help readers log books and win prizes.
