- ➤ Residents in Lacy Lakeview near the bridge on Mesquite Tree Road are asking for a light to improve dangerous nighttime driving conditions — TxDOT installed reflectors and said it will keep monitoring the situation. KXXV

- ➤ Kids Space and Juice Light in Hillsboro closed for five days after a storm caused water to leak through the roof, damaging parts of the building – damages exceeded $2,000 without counting lost revenue. KXXV

- ➤ On May 10, the Dr Pepper Museum in Waco celebrated 34 years by charging $2 for admission, the same price as when it opened in 1991. The museum held a brick layering ceremony for top fans (eight people) and ran a giveaway where two attendees won a year’s supply of Dr Pepper. FOX 44
