- ➤ Federal civil rights lawsuits remain unresolved in federal court regarding the 2015 Twin Peaks shootout that killed nine and wounded around 20 in Waco + plaintiffs claim mass arrests on $1 million bail lacked individualized probable cause while law enforcement seeks summary judgment based on qualified immunity. - ➤ May 17, 2015 marked the 10th anniversary of the Twin Peaks shootout when a dispute between rival biker groups turned violent in Waco—nine people died and about 20 were injured as 16 officers responded. After a trial ended in a mistrial and charges were dropped against over 150 bikers, the Twin Peaks restaurant building has remained vacant. KCENTV
