- ➤ Baylor University said yesterday it is investigating reports of two cats found hanging from telephone lines near campus and is coordinating with the Waco Police Department—supported by its internal teams—to determine if any students are involved. FOX 44

- ➤ On May 21, the City of Waco Communications & Marketing Department won six Telly Awards for its video productions — including entries like the Penguin Shores Exhibit and an animal shelter project. - ➤ McLennan County officials backed the new Central Texas Water Alliance (CTWA), a transformative regional water authority created by Governor Greg Abbott through Senate Bill 1194. - ➤ The Waco-McLennan County Public Health District confirmed the county’s second measles case today in an unvaccinated minor—a close household contact of the initial case—and said both patients are isolating at home with no known public exposures. KXXV
