- ➤ On Friday, local veterans and community members gathered at the Waco Vietnam Veterans Memorial to honor 83 servicemembers who died in Vietnam—participants recited names and tributes continued despite minor audio issues. - ➤ Early Sunday morning, gunfire at a Mexia high school graduation party left one person injured and police are searching for suspects who fled in a black vehicle—EMS flew the injured victim to Hillcrest Hospital in Waco, and he was later released. KXXV
