- ➤ Webster Market opened in downtown Waco and is seeking local businesses to fill 17 suites with shops, a brewery, retail, and dining. The center is near Magnolia Market at the Silos and will host events and live music while more stores finalize deals—Flaming Ranch is already open and others are expected to join by the end of 2025. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ House Bill 1481, which bans all personal communication devices in Texas schools, will take effect next school year—teacher Jocelyn Mancio and social worker Carlos Gutierrez say the change will reduce distractions and help set healthy boundaries. The bill, currently awaiting the governor’s signature, aims to keep students focused in class. KXXV
