- ➤ On Tuesday, police in Waco responded to a shooting on the 1400 block of Carter that injured a juvenile and led to the arrest of 19-year-old Zemarion Benjamin, who is held in McLennan County Jail on charges including unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon & deadly conduct discharge while officers recovered multiple shell casings and noted damage to nearby structures. - ➤ Waco is hosting its first-ever Make Music Day event today when free live music fills sidewalks, patios, and parks from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.—culminating in a sunset finale on the historic Suspension Bridge.
