- ➤ Waco Fire Chief Bergerson said 17 emergency personnel using two fire engines, one ladder truck, two rescue boats, one rescue truck and a battalion chief rescued a woman who got stranded on an island in the Middle Bosque River Monday afternoon — she was not injured. KXXV
- ➤ In a Facebook post, the McGregor Volunteer Fire Department said it and Texas DPS rescued a victim from the water along Indian Trail Monday afternoon—showing their swift response in the emergency. KXXV
