- ➤ Waco’s Midnight Hope Foundation launched its ‘Operation: Kerr County Compassion’ relief campaign Monday to help families in Kerr County affected by floods. The campaign—running until 5 p.m. Wednesday—will use donations to buy H-E-B and Walmart gift cards for those in need. FOX 44
- ➤ Baylor University's McLane Carillon in Pat Neff Hall will ring its 48 bronze bells at noon today to honor those lost in the Central Texas flooding—this tribute marks a moment of solidarity with affected communities. KXXV
- ➤ Woodway is accepting nonmonetary donations at the Woodway Family Center and Public Safety building until Thursday afternoon to help flood-affected families and first responders—requested items include hygiene supplies, baby essentials, pet food, water and sports drinks from the Keeping Cops Cool program. Donations will be delivered Friday morning, and if the Salvation Army cannot accept pet supplies, they will be redirected to local animal rescue groups. FOX 44
- ➤ Raising Cane’s CEO Todd Graves donated $1 million to the American Red Cross to help with flood relief after the devastating Fourth of July floods. The donation will help provide crucial aid to neighbors during ongoing search and rescue efforts. KXXV
- ➤ Officials urge residents across Central Texas to donate essential supplies to help flood survivors as cleanup and recovery efforts continue. Donation drives run from July 8 to July 10 at key sites like Magnolia Market at the Silos, Baylor’s Bobo Spiritual Life Center, and a local church—needed items include towels, blankets, cleaning products, and more. - ➤ Since July 6, local groups in Bell County began a donation drive to help flood victims by collecting water, pet food, cleaning supplies, and hygiene items for delivery to affected areas like San Saba and Kerr counties. Belton Feed and Supply, Bold Republic Brewing Company, Morgan’s Point Resort Fire Department, and the Belton Independent School District’s FFA program (collecting gift cards) are coordinating the ongoing effort to support recovery. - ➤ Two Waco moms, Kaytlyn Spinner and Lais Loewen, are collecting donations for Hill Country flood victims at Luna Clean Food Café and Paloma Coffee—accepting gift cards, towels, blankets, and other supplies this week. They will host a donation sorting event Thursday from 3—7 p.m. and plan to deliver the donations later this weekend. KXXV
