- ➤ Ford dealers in Texas have partnered with Ford Philanthropy to donate $1.25M for flood recovery in Central Texas— the funds will support Team Rubicon, the American Red Cross Disaster Fund, Habitat for Humanity Kerr County, and the San Antonio Food Bank. - ➤ Belton restaurant owner Ronnie Schoepf said his daughter Riata, who texted that she had to swim for her life amid the catastrophic Guadalupe River floods at the River Inn Resort in Hunt on July 4, was rescued by the Army at 9:15 p.m. nearly 19 hours after the flood began — a relief for the family as recovery efforts continue for those still missing.
