- ➤ On Monday at 3:39 p.m., McGregor police evacuated homes and businesses on North 3rd Street after a resident found a Mark 2 hand grenade in a storage building he purchased, prompting the McClennan County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad to confirm the device was inert — officials said it posed no explosive threat. - ➤ The City of Waco announced that Lake Brazos water levels will rise through Friday, July 25 due to releases from Lake Waco, Aquilla, and Whitney Reservoirs.
