- ➤ An accident in Marlin on Wednesday involving a truck tractor semi trailer and a passenger vehicle left all occupants with minor injuries while the Marlin Volunteer Fire Department cleared debris that blocked the FM 147 spillway bridge (the truck was empty). FOX 44

- ➤ The Waco ISD Board of Trustees approved a nearly $5 million compensation plan last week to attract and retain teachers and staff—an effort to address the teacher shortage before the new school year.
