- ➤ A man was arrested by Waco police after he tried to stab an employee closing the front door of a nursing facility after being asked to leave (reports came from facility staff). Waco Tribune-Herald
- ➤ Protesters gathered outside the Waco courthouse Monday in the rain to oppose ICE detaining Noe Guerrero — whose charges were dropped despite his sister saying he had proper documentation and his employer disputing the immigration claims — while he remains in federal custody. KXXV
- ➤ Waco father Noe Fermin Guerrero-Mendieta was moved from McLennan County Jail to an ICE detention center in Conroe after his charges were dropped on August 1, and his lawyer said she was not given a reason for his continued detention (ICE agents said he is under investigation for criminal activity).
