- ➤ City leaders in McGregor shared a State of McGregor update that showed a 27% rise in population, a 274% increase in taxable value, over $66 million in new construction, and more than 14.5 miles of streets resurfaced — alongside a $300 million investment from companies like Knauf. McGregor ISD officials also announced plans to boost school safety and complete a new junior high and high school gym with an $82 million bond by August 2026. KXXV
