- ➤ Ripley’s Believe It or Not! World Entertainment acquired three Texas Hawaiian Falls water parks in Mansfield, Roanoke and Waco from ProParks Attractions Group on Tuesday. - ➤ Mexia mother Esmeralda Castle demands accountability from the U.S. Navy after her daughter Angelina Resendiz—a 21-year-old seaman found near Naval Station Norfolk—died under circumstances she says were worsened by a delayed missing person alert and a sailor’s previous misconduct, and she calls for systemic change to protect service member safety. - ➤ Robinson city leaders voted to raise the property tax rate to about 51 cents per $100 to help pay for $22.5 million in road repairs and a new ladder truck — local business owners support the move while some residents worry it will increase costs. KXXV
