- ➤ On Monday, Tia Juanita’s Fish Camp opened in the old Twin Peaks building—its remodel restored the space while serving Tex-Mex and Cajun dishes to about 170 diners. - ➤ Mucho Gusto Supermercado will open later this month in the former Jubilee Market at 15th Street and Colcord Avenue and will take over the former CVS pharmacy space in South Waco later this year. - ➤ Killeen woman Sandra Youngblood discovered she had Chagas disease after donating blood in Florida in 2018 and went through many tests, including heart exams and EKGs, to track her slow-progressing illness—her next checkup is set for 2032.
