- ➤ Waco Police rescued Wallace—an adventurous tortoise found along China Spring Hwy—on Friday, Sept. 12 and returned him safely to his family. KCENTV
- ➤ Federal administrators cut the Solar for All program that was set to bring free solar panels to 150 low-income homes in Waco and save each household nearly $500 a year, leaving many residents disappointed after workshops had been held. Waco officials said available energy relief programs cannot match the canceled plan’s long-term benefits—a gap that leaves families with limited funding options. KCENTV
