- ➤ Drivers in Waco experienced detours as the My35 Waco South Construction Project closed the eastbound lanes on 18th Street and the southbound turnaround under I—35 for bridge work that began Tuesday at 7 p.m.—the closure lasts until Friday at 7 a.m. Construction crews will start work on the 17th Street bridge on Sunday at 7 p.m. KXXV
