  • Olena Cobb is honoring her late husband Harold’s ranching legacy in Valley Mills by working with longtime ranch hand Bobo Smith to maintain the Thirteen Oaks Ranch and care for its 40 cattle, including two breeding bulls and calves.   • Drivers in Waco experienced detours as the My35 Waco South Construction Project closed the eastbound lanes on 18th Street and the southbound turnaround under I—35 for bridge work that began Tuesday at 7 p.m.—the closure lasts until Friday at 7 a.m. Construction crews will start work on the 17th Street bridge on Sunday at 7 p.m.  KXXV
