- ➤ The Waco Metropolitan Planning Organization won a national award for its Convey2050 plan at the AMPO Conference in Providence, Rhode Island, which recognized its innovative approach that uses human-scale planning and regional collaboration to guide future transportation projects. The plan, updated every five years to address Waco’s growing needs, was developed with support from local governments and community partners (it will shape transit decisions for the next 25 years).
