- ➤ TxDOT crews are using rolling lane closures on I-35 between South Loop 340 and 18th Street this weekend to remove overhead bridge signs — motorists will face reduced speeds, ramp closures, and short delays as work begins 7 p.m. Saturday and finishes 10 a.m. Sunday. KXXV

- ➤ Gatesville snapped a 17-year losing streak by beating Lorena 45-21 on Friday night in KCEN’s Game of the Week—three first-half touchdowns by running back Cy Burns and a key play from quarterback Gehrig Keeton powered the win.
