- ➤ Families in Central Texas have several Halloween events planned this week—like a haunted tunnel car wash fundraiser in Hewitt from October 28th to 30th and a Boo Bash for young children in Temple on October 29th from 10 to 11:30 a.m.—while other events include a Night at the Museum in Belton on October 23rd, a Downtown Candy Trail on October 25th, a trunk-or-treat at Lacy Lakeview on October 31st and a Bryan event on November 1st that benefits the Brazos Valley Food Bank. - ➤ Texas voters will decide on Nov. 4 whether to permanently fund TSTC—covering upgrades to facilities, equipment, and capacity issues during high training demand. TSTC officials said the earnings from the proposed investment fund will help modernize the college to supply more skilled workers for local businesses. KCENTV

- ➤ TCU beat Baylor 42—36 in the Bluebonnet Battle held in Fort Worth amid weather delays that slowed play. The Bears dropped to a 4—3 record as head coach Dave Aranda said the team must prepare before their next game on October 25. KXXV
