- ➤ Amazon is launching air drone delivery services in Waco today for Prime members at $4.99 and for non-Prime members at $9.99—this service uses drones to deliver packages weighing up to five pounds within a radius of seven to eight miles from its fulfillment center. KXXV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Waco ISD reported a fall enrollment of 12,890 students—including lower than expected pre-K, kindergarten and ninth grade—while attendance has shown improvement. Waco Tribune-Herald
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Baylor football (5-4) enters its second bye week after a homecoming win (30-3) against UCF; the Bears will regroup during the break before hosting ranked Utah at McLane Stadium at 6 p.m. KXXV
- ➤ Robinson senior linebacker Landon Armes was named Player of the Week after making his first interception in a 35—14 win last Friday that kept the Rockets in second place.
