- ➤ Cha Community, a cafe in Waco and Temple, has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the National Asian and Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Grubhub to support its upgrades and expansion. The family-owned business will use funds to enhance its food truck and kitchen equipment + build community connections. KCENTV
- ➤ Eduardo Garcia, CEO and co-founder of Helados La Azteca — a local family business — was named to Forbes 30 under 30 in the food and drink category after growing the ice cream business into a viral stop with three locations and nearly $2 million revenue in 2024. KCENTV

- ➤ Temple High School celebrated its early signing day as football standouts Jason Bradford and Jamarion Carlton committed to college football, with Bradford signing with TCU and Carlton flipping from Baylor to Texas on Wednesday. KCENTV
- ➤ Central Texas high school athletes signed to play college sports on Wednesday, Dec. 3, including students from Waco University. Athletes from schools in Temple, Lake Belton, and Copperas Cove committed to programs in football, basketball, softball, and more. KCENTV
- ➤ Baylor football held its National Signing Day today as the team dropped in recruiting rankings after losing some players — yet maintained local signings from University and Belton — and looks ahead to a stronger 2026 season. KXXV
- ➤ Baylor football has lost assistant coach Inoke Breckterfield (a former Oregon State defensive end) who will join his alma mater as the new defensive line coach after two seasons with the Bears. The move follows a 5-7 season and recent National Signing Day. KXXV
