- ➤ On Thursday, Cameron Park Zoo announced that Tembo, a 49-year-old African elephant who loved to paint, died unexpectedly and that Maharani, a 19-year-old Sumatran tiger, was euthanized after a prolonged decline. The zoo honors their memorable personalities. KXXV
- ➤ Former Angel Tree recipient Christel Flores visited a mall on her son’s birthday to adopt an angel but found none available as community giving surged. Instead, she will donate to The Salvation Army before families collect gifts Dec.17, with donors given until Dec.7 to return their contributions. KCENTV
