🦃 Friendsgiving with the GWSU🦃
Join us for a beautiful Friendsgiving Potluck and Investiture-Rededication Ceremony at the Greater Waco Service Center.
📅Date: November, 21st 2026
⏰Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
📍Location: Greater Waco Service Unit Center
👗Dress Code: Uniform B (GS Tshirt - GS Vest - appropriately covering bottoms)
What to Expect:
• Bring your favorite family dish to contribute to the Potluck, each girl will also get a chance to share with the group why that dish is special to them.
• Turkey and Ham will be Provided by the SU
• Craft Station
• After Enjoying our meal together, we will have a Investiture Ceremony.
🕯️What is a Investiture/Rededication Ceremony?
Investiture : Welcomes brand-new members into the movement for the first time. Participants recite the Girl Scout Promise, receive their official membership pin, and are verbally welcomed by the troop. This happens only once in a person's scouting lifetime.
Rededication: Allows returning members to kick off the new year by recommitting themselves to the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
