HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Waco Family Medicine closed three clinics and laid off 52 employees this week after Texas Medicaid rules, high fees from pharmaceutical middlemen, and rising inflation drove its decision, CEO Dr. Jackson Griggs said. Patients from the closed clinics were moved to the main center and Tom Oliver clinic—both offering more services, and the center will continue accepting new Medicaid and Medicare patients.
