- ➤ Waco business owner Andrew Lynn of Phone MD said he welcomed the U.S. Customs and Border Protection tariff exemptions on smartphones, computer monitors and other electronic parts because his vendors warned that prices would soon rise if tariffs returned. He said his business depends on steady material costs—vendors notified him that rising costs could force price increases on future shipments. KXXV

- ➤ Meteorologist Zavian Colón said an upper low and cold front will bring rain chances over Easter weekend. Strong to severe storms will be possible both Saturday and Sunday as forecasts are updated. FOX 44
- ➤ Lake Waco is now two feet lower as hotter weather and increased water demand have reduced reservoir levels—state climatologist John Nielsen-Gammon said the latest outlook favors dry conditions through at least May—and this may lead to drought. Waco Tribune-Herald
